animatic
my animatic again... I drawn more character movements and animating some lighting to figure out the real timing. Beside, I think it also help me on creating character rigging.
I think all of your action is reading much better now that you have more drawings. I am having trouble understanding what is going on around 1:30 though. The insect flies in and crosses the monster's face. Then the camera is moving across some trees. What is happening here? Does the boy cut down trees and they fall on the monster? Maybe sound effects will help with this?
But I do think your film is going to be so beautiful.
This animatic is really well put together. Some of the boards are gorgeous. I have the same concern as Melissa. 1:23 bug is flying and slow (maybe too slow?) pan across trees and then I am confused for about 20 seconds.
However I think this story is really going to show off you and your beautiful painting and atmospheric abilities! cool.
I got the some feedback from the animatic screening....I'm going to remove the bug from whole story. Because that bug is not important at all, I think it will reduce my work by just taking it out. Besides, I think I'm going to add a shot of boy cutting a tree.
